Mother's Day is fast approaching -- the perfect time to try Cream Cheese Pound Cake. While the recipe has been handed down in my Polish family for generations, its origins are probably American, even though Poles are known for their use of cream cheese in many dishes, including "pierogi" dough.
This cake looks especially pretty when served with sliced strawberries and whipped cream and garnished with an edible flower.
