Make Your Plans Now for Pierogi Fest

The 15th annual Pierogi Fest is coming to Whiting, Ind., July 24-26. It's three days of dumpling feeding frenzy fleshed out with a parade on Saturday featuring Mr. Pierogi, Miss Paczki, the Dancing Pieroguettes, a Precision Lawnmower Drill Team, the Babushka Brigade and more. If you're close enough to this little corner of God's green earth, you owe yourself a visit. Whiting is only about 30 minutes from downtown Chicago, so you can check out more Eastern European cuisine in Chi-town's many ethnic neighborhoods.
