Here are some Eastern European blogs to watch for: Charlotte Jones of Charlotte's VVEB has a delightful blog subtitled "Tales of Eastern European Travel, Culture and Food. She's based in the UK and her restaurant tips, recipes and travel shots are all worth a look.
And then there's Russian Season authored by mother-and-daughter team Natalia and Alina who live in Latvia. Check out the recipe for the layered Latvian rye bread dessert pictured here. The blog is only a few months old but I predict great things for this portal that so far features Russian, Slovak, Ukrainian and Romanian recipes, among others.
At EuropeWord, the goal is to provide information and facts about Europe. They also publish "any reliable Europe information provided by our readers. If there are any undiscovered facts about Europe, please let us know and we will help you share it with the world."
