In recent years, London and other parts of England have seen an influx of Polish immigrants (nearly 1 million) seeking better-paying jobs. As such, Polish restaurants have sprung up to cater to these expats. Chef-owner Jan Woroniecki's restaurants Baltic, Wódka and Chez Kristoff are new in comparison with others like Daquise, which has been around for decades and recently assumed new ownership.
