Yes, turducken, that Thanksgiving frankenfood amalgamation of chicken stuffed inside a duck stuffed inside a turkey, has finally met its match -- cherpumple pie cake!

As reported by Geoffrey A. Fowler in the Wall Street Journal on Nov. 6, Charles Phoenix created this dessert last year. It's a three-layer affair with cherry pie baked inside a white cake, a pumpkin pie baked inside a yellow cake, and an apple pie baked inside a spice cake. The coup de grace holding the whole shebang together is a schmear of cream-cheese frosting.

Want to make your own? Follow these video instructions and recipe from Phoenix. If you do attempt this cake, send him your pictures. What the heck, send them to both of us!
