I found luscious blackberries in my neighborhood grocery store the other day for 88 cents a half-pint, right alongside some fragrant tangerines. How could I refuse?

I was in a bit of a rush today but I wanted to take something semi-homemade to a friend, so I started this Easy Tangerine-Blackberry Bundt Cake recipe with a box of yellow cake mix, added sour cream, eggs, tangerine juice, zest and a pinch of ground ginger. I reserved some of the batter for a cupcake to do a taste test before giving it my OK. It's great!

I also whipped up some easy Orange / Tangerine Dessert Sauce to take along for when we cut ourselves a slice.

Compare this recipe with my Easy Polish Lemon-Blueberry Bundt Cake, which I based this one on. And here are more Eastern European Blackberry Recipes.
