Bring Warmth to Winter with Tropical Angel Food Cake

After testing recipes for new-and-improved paczki, I was left with six egg whites. I usually freeze leftover egg whites, but I wanted a little treat for a get-together with friends. Most angel food cakes call for 12 egg whites or more, so here's what I came up with -- Mini Tropical Angel Food Cake Recipe.

Now that tropical fruits are readily available in Eastern Europe, they show up in many recipes. When my own busia emigrated to the United States, she couldn't get enough bananas or pineapple.
