Easter is approaching and, for many, that means fasting for Lent.
Luckily, Mardi Gras, also known as Fat Tuesday or Shrove Tuesday, gives us one last chance to party before Ash Wednesday.
For Polish Americans, Fat Tuesday is Paczki Day. In Lithuania, the day is called Uzgavenes and doughnuts called spurgos are eaten with gusto. Ukranians devour nalysnky, crepe-like pancakes, on Zapusty, their Fat Tuesday.
This paczki-making video should make things really easy.
