Winter Citrus Calls for Souffles and Salads

California Cuties are popping up all over my supermarkets and have been since November and will still be around in April. What a perfect gift for your Valentine's Day cutie.

But did you know Cuties are actually two different fruits -- Clementine Mandarins, which are harvested from November through January, and Murcott Mandarins, available from February through April. So what you're finding at your grocer's right now is the Murcott variety. Both varieties are sweet, seedless, easy to peel and the perfect size for kids.
