2013 Valentine's Day Gift Guide and I recently sampled their kolaczki (they spell them kolachi) cookies. Oh my! They're just like mine, except theirs are dusted with coarse sugar not confectioners' sugar. But, I imagine that's because confectioners' sugar doesn't hold up well in a moist environment.
Like mine, their dough is made with butter and cream cheese folded around a generous dollop of filling, which can be apricot, prune, poppy seed, walnut, raspberry, sweet cream cheese, cherry, chocolate cream, and pineapple, and probably a few more I don't know about.
They can be frozen successfully. Just pull them out to thaw about an hour before serving. Since all of Butter Maid's products have no artificial preservatives, freezing is the best way to preserve these delectables naturally for up to 6 months.
I'm delighted to tell you about this excellent product. Butter Maid ships nationwide using USPS Priority Mail (two- to three-day delivery), so you're good to go for Easter!
