Serbian Orthodox Easter

Tuesday April 22, 2008

This is Holy Week for Orthodox Christians, culminating in a feast of spit-roasted lamb on Sunday. If you're lucky to live in an area where barbecued lamb is easy to come by and you've never tried this delicacy, you owe yourself.

The crispy skin and succulent meat will make an indelible culinary memory. I swear you'll remember exactly what time it was, who you were with and what you were wearing. It's that intense. Best of all, eating with your fingers is strongly encouraged.

Take your palate on a cyber tasting with this Serbian Orthodox Easter dinner menu.
