The beauty of honey is in its natural simplicity. This liquid gold consists of three simple ingredients -- fructose, glucose and water. But don't think that sugar can be replaced with honey ounce for ounce. Some rules apply.
Cooking with Honey
For sauces, marinades and salad dressings, substitute pure honey for up to half the granulated sugar in a recipe.
Baking with Honey
Use pure honey for up to half the granulated sugar in a recipe. Additionally, for each 1 cup of honey used:

- Add 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- Reduce oven temperature by 25 degrees
