Bulgarian Salads Recipes and Descriptions

Shopska Salata is a common salad made of chopped tomatoes, cucumbers, onions and Bulgarian feta cheese. Others include Shepherd's Salad (ofcharska salata), which has the same ingredients as the shopska, plus ham, boiled eggs and mushrooms.

Snow White (snezhanka) Salad is made of yogurt, cucumbers, garlic and walnuts, similar to Tarator Soup. Russian Salad (ruska salata) and Mixed Salad (meshana salata) are two more popular salads.
