Decorating Christmas trees is also very popular in Belarus. Young people usually decorate the tree with handmade toys. The Christmas Tree Show, another favorite custom, includes songs and dramatic readings. After the show, presents are given out by Dzied Maroz (Father Frost) or Sviaty Mikola (St. Nicholas).
