This easy no-cook raspberry sauce recipe requires only one ingredient -- frozen raspberries in syrup. Unless you want to add a splash of your favorite liqueur. The best part is it can be made up to three days in advance and stored, covered, in the refrigerator.
Makes about 2 cups Easy Raspberry Sauce
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Total Time: 15 minutes
Ingredients:
- 8 ounces frozen raspberries in syrup
- Splash of liqueur of choice (optional)
Preparation:
- Defrost berries and strain, reserving juice. Place berries in food processor and puree until smooth. Pass through a kitchen strainer to remove the seeds.
- Add the liqueur, if using, and the reserved juice gradually. The sauce should be thick. Don't thin it out too much. Store covered in the refrigerator up to three days.
- This is a pretty sauce to use for painting a dessert plate, especially when used with easy vanilla custard sauce
