Raspberry Sauce

This easy no-cook raspberry sauce recipe requires only one ingredient -- frozen raspberries in syrup. Unless you want to add a splash of your favorite liqueur. The best part is it can be made up to three days in advance and stored, covered, in the refrigerator.

  • Makes about 2 cups Easy Raspberry Sauce
  • Prep Time: 15 minutes

    Total Time: 15 minutes

    Ingredients:

    • 8 ounces frozen raspberries in syrup
    • Splash of liqueur of choice (optional)

    Preparation:

    1. Defrost berries and strain, reserving juice. Place berries in food processor and puree until smooth. Pass through a kitchen strainer to remove the seeds.

    2. Add the liqueur, if using, and the reserved juice gradually. The sauce should be thick. Don't thin it out too much. Store covered in the refrigerator up to three days.

    3. This is a pretty sauce to use for painting a dessert plate, especially when used with easy vanilla custard sauce
