Zorka Glumac, Donna Trikich and Danica Beslic carefully stretch the dough using open palms. If a tear happens to occur as the strudel dough is stretched, a patch is placed over it and it is brushed with melted butter. But these ladies are so adept, there are few tears in the see-through dough.
